ao3_isdown

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks, but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: https://otwstatus.org

Welcome to ~~Cope Town~~ the AO3 Is Down Promptathon!
Where we can all huddle together, prompt silly things, write fills, and spread some fannish joy.

As per their update, we may be in for the long haul, so this here's The OneShot-Athon. That means 1k words and up. Feel free to browse the previous two events for drabble and ficlet prompts (they'll remain closed for new prompts, but fills and comments on existing fills are more than welcome.)

When posting a prompt please format it this way:

fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence.

Only one prompt per comment please. So, for example,

Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, "I don't like sand."

Open ended and anthropomorphic fills are popular too, such as:

Any, Any, "I don't like sand."

or

Earth geography, sand, "I don't like humans very much, either."

What else?
You answer other posters' prompts, fill as many prompts as you want, as many times as you wish. If you see that a prompt you loved has already been filled, go ahead and fill it again! Multiple fills of the same prompt are allowed and even encouraged! (We get really fun stories going this way).

If writing a fill for an open prompt, list the fandom in the subject field.

Link your fills here.

If you read a fill you enjoy, let the writer know in the comments ♥

Accounts are free, and take seconds to set up.

Can anyone play?
Yes! Please signal boost this to your circle, followers, and any other places you frequent. Come one, come all!
The more people who come and play, the better!

Can I spread the word?
Yes, please. Link your friends or post about it wherever <3

How long will it go?
Prompts until AO3 is looking stable again + small buffer, fills can be made for another week after that.

Currently OPEN for prompts, OPEN for fills.

The downtime is coming and going atm - fingers crossed they figure it out soon! - so no word-count restrictions this time around. (last round was drabbles) Once the site has stabilized, I'll put up a small countdown to get those last prompts in.

AO3 will indeed be down tomorrow, but considering

threesentenceficathon has just opened up and is full of people down to party with the fic prompts, I figured I'd point in that direction for a real good time.

It’s a short downtime, so we will be doing drabbles and droubbles. That is, fic at exactly 100 or 200 words (titles are freebies). It’s a super fun exercise, and the length makes it much easier to dive in!

fandom, character(s), prompt word/sentence.

Only one prompt per comment please. So, for example,
